Eva is the daughter of the town madam, though she was raised by her aunt, Maxine. The apple definitely doesn't fall far from the tree, as Eva has quite the, um, appetite of her own.

Duncan is a life-long friend of Ruth Blakely and Jerri Hansard. He owns a sprawling estate in Atlanta's Buckhead neighborhood.

Joe is husband to Carol, father to Daisy. He's a Landscaper with an agenda.

Jeremiah is dad to Cash, grandfather to Annie. He can't hold a job, so he deals in stolen automobile parts.

She's the fastest broad in Tennyson County. Imogene is a classic vintage Cadillac convertible owned by notorious madam Nadine Bassette.

Sophia Boyd is a lifelong friend of Ruth Blakely and Jerri Hansard. She's a resident of Atlanta, sharing a sprawling estate with her husband, Judge Duncan Boyd.

When it comes to being cranky, few rival Jolene "Mama Jo" Blakely. She's famous for quoting Bible verses and judging others.

R.W. is one of Tennyson County's most mysterious characters. He spends most of his time in the G.R.I.T. train depot, where he paints on canvas.

Chief Thomas is dedicated to his job. So dedicated, in fact, it cost him his marriage. He's a father of two, trying his best to regulate law and order in this small Southern town.

Carol Wei owns the town flower shop. Her husband is a Landscaper, her daughter a front desk clerk at the Grand Hotel. While Carol is quick to give advice on floral arrangements, there's a lot more to the lady than work.

Harrison Tennyson is a senior commissioner in the county named after his family. He heads the family business, while sparring with Noeware mayor, Ruth Blakely.

Cora is Tennyson County's honorary mother. She cooks like a chef, gives advice like a columnist,  and has a heart of pure gold.

Cash is a small town gangster.  His business is petty, and not so petty, crime.

The lady wasn't just handed the nickname "Ruthless", she earned it. 

Miss Willa is most commonly described as a drifter, but there's so much more to this woman. With her battered face and her signs of dementia, she's a walking billboard for trauma.

Meet Billy Washington Billy Washington makes his living as the flamboyant hash slinger in the Middle of Noeware Diner.

Allison Edwards thought she lived the perfect life.  She had a significant other who adored and supported her. She managed a coffeehouse.
