Meet Uncle J.B.

J.B. is brother to Jolene "Mama Jo" Blakely. In fact, he once shared a house with her as an adult. He had a particular fondness for her daughter's, too, which led to his need to find new living quarters.

These days, he lives alone out in Tennyson County. He runs a hog farm, which brings in a little cash. He also spends time on the internet. This has created a whole new problem.

"Woven Branches" (the book) What it is: A multi-book serial novel series titled Woven Branches, with the first book being The Road to Noeware.

Setting: The fictional, quirky town of "Noeware," Georgia. Plot: It follows a journalism student who uncovers dark secrets while investigating human interest stories in a small Southern town where modern society clashes with old traditions.
